Cody A. Hoilman

Cody A. Hoilman formed Elk Pointe Capital in August 2022. After 7 years of industry experience, he wanted to start his own firm to better serve his clientele. Now that he has the necessary tools, he is very confident he can help clients hedge and be successful in today’s markets and those to come. He holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network. He is also a licensed insurance representative. Cody received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Appalachian State University.
Cody believes that respect, mutual trust and transparency are the cornerstones to a successful client/advisor relationship. He understands that every client is unique in their own way and is deeply committed to helping everyone he works with reach their financial goals.
Away from the office, Cody is passionate about giving back. He attends Victory Baptist Church of Newland, NC, and he serves on several boards including Habitat for Humanity, Greater Banner Elk Heritage Foundation, Avery County Chamber of Commerce, and Avery Development Corporation. Cody is also a Rescue Diver for the Linville Fire Department Scuba Dive Team. Serving the needs of the families in his community is a significant role for him. Cody resides here in the High Country with his wife Amber and two boys, Pearson and Baylor. He used to enjoy golf, fishing and traveling – but then the kids came along. Now he spends most of his free time wrestling, building sandcastles, and riding the golf cart. He wouldn’t trade it for all the golf in the world.
Sandye Stafford
Wealth Advisor Assistant
Sandye joined Elk Pointe Capital as the Wealth Advisor Assistant. She is most often the first one to greet you when contacting the firm and ensures the correct handling of client needs and requests while overseeing office affairs.
She has an Associate’s degree from Western Piedmont Community College in Paralegal Technology. She worked as a freelance paralegal for 17 years before joining the financial industry in 2018 when she came on board with Wealth Advisor, Cody Hoilman at Edward Jones Investments.
Sandye lives in Plumtree, NC with her husband, Eddie and youngest son, Greyson. Her oldest son, Stetson, lives in North Augusta, SC with his wife, Bethany and their son, Hudson. Outside of the office she loves to spend time with her family, travel, and shop.
